Busy, Busy, Busy – Getting Mercury Rev ready to hit the road. Making lots of cables, looms, running around buying stuff, making suggestions, advancing info, working out the puzzle of where to the rehearse, the puzzle of how to pack, and hoping the airlines won’t be to picky about some very large heavy pieces, and a couple of extra pieces, and……..

I’m am psyched to mix what is being produced in the rehearsal space, the first show in spain will be extra interesting as it will be my first time behind the Yamaha PM-1D, their fancy new digital desk. Quite a way to start off a tour, should be a blast.

London show confirmed

London show confirmed – The show at the Electric Ballroom with Mercury Rev is confirmed for August 9th. A small show, a short show from what I hear, and I bet ya anything it will be a disco load out.

And yes, it was mostly colored clouds that we got to see on the 4th. A short show too. Oh well.

Happy Independence Day! Mercury Rev web site is Up. – Mercury Rev’s official web site is up and running as of today. Created on a mac. The draft input list receives some revisions but things wont be certain till I actually see it all in action when I travel to the Catskills. I hear there will be shows in late fall in….

Will we be looking at colored clouds tonight or shall we actually see some fireworks tonight?

Tour Manager and Tour Manager Database's Update

Tour Manager and Tour Manager Database’s Update – Now at Tour Manager version 2.0.2 with the addition of a couple of fields. Tour Databases now at 1.1.0 as some utility layouts are added, a few new fields, but the biggest change being 370+ new venues, and 100+ new promoters. Also some changes to the zip archive that will hopefully make it possible for users on window machines to see and use these files.

Tour Manager Manual now available. Not complete, but a start. with answers to most major questions. And that’s what I’ve been doing lately for hours on end, cleaning up and updating the databases. Now maybe I can rest for a bit….
